About Me

I once told someone I wanted to write a book, and their answer was: "Why don't you?" And I thought: "Why don't I?" It never seemed like a real idea until that moment. But, I put idea into action, and my writing career was born. There was a huge learning curve and a lot of false starts, but all of that brought me here. My debut novel, Ashes, Ashes, has been more than 3 years in the making, and I'm so excited to finally be able to hold it in my hands and share it with the world.

I'm married to an Army helicopter pilot, with whom I have the two most precious boys in existence and a loveable chocolate lab. We move around a lot, but everywhere we go is a new adventure and a new place to call home.

When I'm not writing, I can be found curled up on the couch with a book, binging my favorite TV shows, or traipsing around a wooded trail somewhere. I love adventuring, whether that be hiking in a state park, taking a day trip to the beach, or checking out a new zoo or museum.
