Ashes, Ashes has just won its first award! And my first, too, coincidentally. I entered Ashes, Ashes in the BookFest 2022 Fall Awards in the YA Fantasy Fiction category and received 2nd place!
Yes, I'm very excited. No, I didn't win any money. It's a small award with small reach, but it is putting my book out there to people who otherwise would never know it exists. Am I going to tout it as often and as loudly as I can? Yes. Yes I am.
